Welcome to The Chicago Classic!
The top professionals in West Coast Swing will assemble in the Windy City to teach, compete, learn, and dance all day and night long from March 7 through March 10, 2019 (Thursday – Sunday).
The Chicago Classic is proud to be the only National Association of Swing Dance Events (NASDE) event in the Midwest and is also a World Swing Dance Council (WSDC) member. As the premier event, we strive to bring you the best instruction available from top champions hailing from across the USA and Canada.
While social dancing is always a highlight of the event, our selection of over 20 workshops and intensives will enhance and accelerate your dancing skills. This includes 2018 Showcase World Champion Benji Schwimmer’s “Re-wiring Your Westie Brain” intensive and Ben Mc Henry & Cameo Cross’ routine intensive where you will learn their entire routine (price is per couple)
The Chicago Classic brings you the best competitors in the Showcase and Classic NASDE divisions. Rising Star, Jack & Jill, Strictly Swing and Pro Am contests are also offered.

Driving
Do NOT take a city cab. They are time and a half to suburbs. Take an Uber or Lyft.
30 minutes west of Chicago.
Next to Yorktown Mall (tons of shopping and restaurants).
Steps away from Target (inside is a Starbucks).
Conveniently located off of I-88 and I-355.
Flying
Ohare airport is 16 miles.
Midway airport is 20 miles.
Traffic wise, Ohare is a better drive.
Uber is a very economical option and transports from both airports.
Train
From Ogilvie train station take the UP-W Metra Train Commuter Line from Ogilvie to Lombard train station.
Call the hotel for a shuttle ride from the train station.
