Westies on the Water 2022

West Coast Swing Dance Retreat

Mark your calendars and get ready for a fun-filled weekend at Lake Guntersville State Park. Westies on the Water, November 10-13, 2022, will be a retreat-like weekend focused on West Coast Swing. This year, there are workshops for newcomers and advanced workshops to enhance skills and technique. Every night we have social dancing and the DJ doesn’t stop until you do!

LAKE GUNTERSVILLE STATE PARK

Early booking starts at $117

Lake Guntersville State Park rests along the banks of the Tennessee River in Northeast Alabama. Whether you are looking for a resort-style retreat or an outdoor adventure in the 6,000 acres of natural woodlands, Lake Guntersville State Park will satisfy all your needs. Among the many recreational offerings are an 18-hole championship golf course, the Screaming Eagle Zipline, a beach complex, an outdoor nature center, excellent fishing in Alabama's largest lake, 36 miles of hiking and biking trails, weekly guided hikes, and a day-use area.

Regardless of the reason for visiting the park, there are plenty of overnight and extended stay options. Choose from a modern campground with several outdoor opportunities, cabins that rest on the bank of the Guntersville Lake, chalets nestled in the ridge-tops, or the resort lodge on the pinnacle of Taylor Mountain that offers a stunning view. Select accommodations are handicap accessible and dog friendly.

Refund Policy

Westies on the Water has a no refund, no exchange policy. You may sell or transfer your pass to someone else. Please inform the Event Director of any pass changes ASAP, BEFORE the event. Thank you.
