Since its restart in 2022, the West Coast Swing community in Kitchener-Waterloo has proven to be one of the fastest-growing and most inclusive and welcoming dance communities. Participants from Remix Swing, the local WCS dance studio owned by our Event Director, Mikaela Lewis, have made waves as socially active, conscientious, and vibrant dancers and community members at events around the world.

THEMUSEUM
Set in the heart of downtown Kitchener at 10 King Street West, THEMUSEUM is a five-level art and technology venue built for weekends that do not belong in a banquet hall. Its Grand Atrium rises four storeys with open space and natural light, and the full building can host up to 400 guests, with a lounge for cocktails and flexible rooms for workshops, competitions, and late-night socials. A museum without a permanent collection, THEMUSEUM stages immersive digital and travelling exhibitions guests can wander between dances, then shifts into licensed Museum After Dark energy after hours. The attached Duke Street parking garage, nearby ION stops at Queen and Frederick stations, full wheelchair access, on-site Wi-Fi, and THESTORE on the main floor make it easy to arrive, settle in, and stay in the middle of Waterloo Region’s restaurants and nightlife.
